UI State Information Data Exchange (SIDES)
Unemployment Insurance (UI) State Information Data Exchange System (SIDES), is a web based system that allows transmission of UI information requests from UI agencies to multi-state employers and/or Third Party Administrators (TPAs), as well as transmission of replies containing the requested information back to the UI agencies.
The current implementation of SIDES is for the exchange of separation information, however, future supported data formats, such as non-monetary determinations, benefit charges, and lower authority appeal decision information, will be handled similarly. (More Info)
This site contains completed documentation that other state UI agencies and employers/TPAs may review to gain a deeper understanding of UI SIDES. As the UI SIDES project moves forward and SIDES documentation is approved by the SIDES Consortium, it will be made available to the UI community through the ITSC website.
